Discerning the Call: Six Young Women Begin Their Franciscan Journey in Kiamaina Kenya

A Season of Growth and Grace 🌿 On February 13th, we joyfully welcomed six courageous young women into the FMSA Novitiate in Kiamaina, Kenya. Accompanied by their formator, Sr. Maria Goretti Namono, and a dedicated team of instructors spread all over the world, they are embarking on a profound journey of vocational discernment with the Franciscan Missionary Sisters for Africa. Exploring faith, Franciscan spirituality, human development, mission, community living, and scripture, this Novitiate period is a sacred time of depth and renewal. Whatever God’s ultimate call may be—whether to serve as consecrated Sisters or to walk another path as enriched members of society—we pray that they may find Joy and peace; that this beautiful season transforms them into women of deep purpose and faith.
