Formation of new FMSA sisters

Formation to be a nun is a journey of discernment; we welcome young women to come and discover the path the Lord is inviting them to follow. Those discerning their vocation are invited to join us in our ministries, sharing in prayer, meals, and service to God’s people, while prayerfully considering God’s call.

Our missionary calling often leads us to serve in countries beyond our own.  To facilitate this international service, certain requirements must be met, including good physical health and educational qualifications that enable us to acquire the skills essential for effective ministry.

The road to Emmaus (Lk. 24:13-32) beautifully illustrates our approach to formation.  Just as Jesus walked with his disciples, our sisters accompany young women on their journey of discernment, sharing life and faith – the “bread of the journey.”   If you feel Called to be a nun, to be sisters- Come and discover your path with us!
