In accordance with the Chapter mandate, the African Regional Team organised a Workshop for all our Temporary Professed Sisters.
The workshop took place from February 22nd – 28th 2020 at our Convent at La Verna, Kampala, Uganda. The content of the workshop was selected from the topics suggested by the Temporary Professed themselves. Our own sisters will be the facilitators and give the input along with outside facilitators for topics needing more expertise.
The Temporary professed are 7 in number and were very excited about this opportunity to deepen their FMSA Spirituality. They are Elizabeth who will come from Zimbabwe, Rumbidzai and Josephine – both students in Tangaza, Leonidah, Anne and Tibberiah from Wau and Topistar from Uganda.
We are grateful that the Postulants at La Verna will help with a lot of the logistics, under the guidance of Angella and Frances and our faithful and skilled cook, Christine.
We thank you for your prayers for the success of this workshop. A lot of prayer, thought and preparation went into preparation for this Meeting, but we trusted in the Holy Spirit’s spark for each facilitator and participant to make it a life-changing encounter with the Lord for each sister.
We are grateful to those who stood in for the sisters who were attending the meeting and helped with their duties.
